    Hi I'm just arrived in the forum and I don't know if this is the right section where post this;

    I've just removed the dust from my old original chip modded Xbox, and I've begin to play again with super games like Ninja Gaiden, Black, etc.

    Searching on the web, I've found that the original xbox modded with the chip is an excellent platform to play a lot of emulators (SNES, Nintendo 64, Neo Geo, MAME, etc)... so how does it works?
    What are the name of the emulators I should search for?

    How do I use them? Just download - fill the proper folder with ROMS - burn a dvd - slap it into the xbox and play?

    Thanks a lot to whoever replies to me!

    Bye

    Just pop it onto your HDD, DVDs can be a bit of a mess with paths and such. There are most of the classics, MAME, ZSNES, that sort of thing, usually with an X included hah, like MAMEoX

    Go to Xbins. It's basically a one-stop source for everything Xbox. Emulators, dashboards, Linux distros, etc.

    All you need is an FTP Client (FlashFXP/FileZilla) and an IRC Client (go here, log into #xbins, type !list)

    From there, you can transfer anything you want to your HDD using the FTP Client. If you have a stock HDD (8GB-10GB or so), you can always switch files as you use them to avoid using DVDs.

    Wow Thanks!!! I don't remeber if I switched my internal hd drive... I have to check how much space I've got.

    EurAsia has a bunch of stuff too. Xbins is great, but iirc it only allows a (very) few downloads at a time, which is OK if you're only looking for updates for a handful of apps, but less so if you're just starting out and want to try everything that's available.
