Evangelion Live action movie in the works

GSL makes an interesting point. I'd love for Evangelion to be what it couldn't be when it was so... weirdly ended, and, well, made with a low budget and 1995 technology.

ALSO, the concept images do look quite cool - I'd sure love to watch the movie if it looks like that. It's likely to suck, but I hope it doesn't.


And by this, I mean a re-interpretation of the story, like the one GSL proposes, would REALLY rock. If done right, that is. Rejuvenating Eva with a few winks to old-time fans, that would really be great.

 

This movie will most likely suck if americans produced the movie.
Thank god the Dragonball z movie never got made.
I think the Japanese should produced the movie.

 

The movie is going to suck no matter who makes it. There is no way you can tell a story like Eva in two hours. I doubt you could do it in a LoTR style trilogy even. So much of the story is going to be cut for time it won't even resemble the anime.
