US F/S: Mega Man X SNES prototype

What about taking it to a local game store? I know our local game store would have zero issue with using their SNES, especially to test a Prototype. Not trying to harass you or anything, just thinking of how it would make it easier to sell..I have a feeling people would start jumping on this if you could even confirm it works since you bought it from Coolmod, and would even be excellent proof in case someone claims it doesn't work upon arrival. You don't even have to spend any time trying to look for differences, let the buyer have the fun finding out.
Honestly if I had the money I'd buy it without knowing, just for surprise. Then again I'd be happy with any prototype, just need to get some massive bills out of the way..

Going to have to suggest a local game store with a snes ready.

Truth be told, I have some people that are interested, but only if there's a difference in the ROM. If there's truly something different with the ROM then they'd jump on it immediately.

I know everyone's eagerness to see what's on here, I feel the same. But at this point due to personal circumstances I really am just trying to get someone else who will take the gamble for me and take the cart and see what's there. Naturally there'd be more people interested if it's different from final, no doubt. As I just told PixelButts (heh) in a PM, if I were to get it tested and I do in fact find out the game is final, poof, my investment gone. Zero back.

It's shady but sadly I have to resort to just letting someone else take the risk for me as I can't afford that. I have too much riding on getting the money back. And that's the truth, pretty or not.

I'm gonna eBay it soon so I know it will go pretty low and I won't make my investment back, but better than nothing at this point, going to have to sell other things to get the money back. Anyway, sorry you all have to be teased so much heh.

 

Just to alleviate any worries, basically what happened is I put both games in my sales thread, but Bramsworth offered a price my friend couldn't refuse a few days before my sales thread (I just forgot about it) and edited the thread after I remembered.

I bought the first prototype version 0.2 from Bramsworth, It arrived yesterday and it's working.

I was informed by him that it turned out to be a final, unfortunately. Haven't heard from the buyer of the cart in this topic yet.

 

Unfortunately it seems that the ROM is the same as the retail.

That's disappointing, but nonetheless it's a nice thing to have a rom of it available - even if it's the final.
