That's something I would buy... If I only had a DS... That's just another reason to get one.

Two things: first, they made a Famicom adapter for the GBA, so why can't you just use that? Second, why can't they make a Super Famicom adapter? I would be much more interested in that since the Famicom is pretty easy to emulate.

Well, putting it in that way... Genesis Adapter! Come on, Nintendo has the rights for Genesis games on the VC (they won't have any big troubles with the rights, I think) and there are Genesis on a chip working (that explains the lot of portable genesis clones that appeared recently), so it would be a really better idea and that's something they could sell to the masses...

For once I was not exited , since I knew it wasn´t an official Nintendo product, second of all. I knew it was an NOAC famicom adaptor thingy.

I am aware of the the snes clone and the genesis mega drive on a chip, but on yet to exsists for snes. Isn't the sound on the snes clones shitty due to them not using the actual sony spc chip?

I wouldn't say that Nintendo has the rights for those games. It's just another medium for a publisher (in this case Sega) to publish on, so Sega has probably paid Nintendo for the rights to distribute on the VC.

    My 2 cents anyway.

Regardless, I'd be interested in a Gen -> DS adapter.

I don't say Nintendo has the rights, I'm saying that if Genesis games are already available on the VC, I don't think that Sega will have any troubles with a Gen -> DS adapter, or even easier: they could make a good emulator and make them available for download for a small fee, being stored on flash carts.
