Famicom (or should I say, NES) Mini games US-bound!!

I think that the game originality issue is more important then the money one. The gaming "scene" (if you could call it that) has obviously taken a turn to the "retro." While not the majority of gamers, a huge percentage (this board an example) are now into collecting older games. Nintendo is capitalizing off this, which I have no problem with, I could care less about what people spend their money on, but I'm confused to you guys' excitement. Why you'd want a complete $120 "limited edition" set of possibily the least expensive games available for any console is beyond me. I want to like GBA but its hard when I spend all my days playing 8-bit/16-bit games then I see the newest GBA game which is a direct port, some shoddy remake, or some crap sequal that will sell because of the game's title. Theres no reason why they need to keep releasing old games and its sad that there is such a demand.

 

Maybe I jugded too soon. Let's hope this is a bad rendered concept. I'll wait and see

And the games, yeah you got a point there. Of course it's cool to play those games on your GBA. It's portable, play them whereever you like. I have some 'recycled' GBA games of my own and I love em. I don't really mind that they are releasing old games. This way more people can play and experience those great titles.

I'm a sucker for limited versions so I help to keep such stuff alive. :drinkers:
