Fat ceramic white Playstation 3 @ water with white LEDs

Because they get super hot and it causes them to die over time (YLOD). There are fan mods, but they are so loud. Water-cooling helps get better temps than any fan mod and is pretty much silent. I would be interested in doing this mod myself, as I really love my fat PS3 and want it to live for a long time.

 

Or get a later slim model and keep a PS2 around for PS2/PSX games.

 

I got sentimental value with my fat ps3. It's a launch day 60gb model which I totally got raped on by a scalper..
Long story short.. I waited in line for almost 2 days with some friends at the San Diego Sony Store because I was told they were gonna have a lot of consoles there. When it finally came time for the store to open, literally hundreds of people showed up and rushed the doors.. The police showed up and shut the whole thing down and told everyone to leave and didn't care about the people who were camping out. So I was totally beat up from the whole experience, sleep deprived, and just wanted my damn PS3. A scalper was driving around the parking lot with a 60gb and I just said F*** it and bought it. Don't wanna talk about how much I paid, because it was ridiculous... but that's why I want to hold on to this one forever.. and also because of the CFW that's on it.

I have a PS2 also lol...

 

slim models are notorious for YLOD as well,although I have never seen a CECH-4000 with ylod before,
I have a 4000 I play almost exclusivly the PS3 F2P Gundam Battle Operation PSN Game , but i want all 3 colors like the E3 2005/2006 ps3 display.
