Favorite Downloadable Console Games?

Limbo on XBLA, released today.
It's has that authentic little boy nightmare feeling, combined with cool puzzles (one that pisses me off immensely and I can't seem to overcome) and that extra dose of 'awesome' you feel in your veins after playing a game that's going to sell like shit because its actually good.

I like to play games. There are so many console games are available on Internet. It is easily download form net. My favourite console games are :

1. Elevator Action

2. The Legend of Kage

3. Star Soldier

4. Adventure island.

 

it doesn't get much better than that. :lol:

- Muscle March (WiiWare)
- Bit Trip series (WiiWare)

 

Pole's Big Adventure is, indeed, comedy gold if you are a retrogamer.

Very, very recommended.

 

Earthworm Jim HD will finally be avaiable on PSN this week. Worth getting it?

Also, i hope some PC Engine games start showing up on the US PSN Store.

 

Yeah, but such a shame it's a japanese exclusive. So in order to play this game you have to either own a japanese Wii or hack your american/european Wii.

Btw, did you noticed the Hokuto no Ken reference on this game? :lol: I bet you did if you are a hardcore Hokuto no Ken fan like me. :033:

 

Nobody got Earthworm Jim HD? I've read some strange reviews, anyone has a opinion on it?

Also, what about Scott Pilgrim vs. The World?

 

i´ve got to add Limbo from XBLA

 

I have the XBLA version, I like it, though it IS missing the Sega CD extras (level, weapons) but includes the extra Genesis/MegaDrive level. I think it's a pretty good "remake" with the exception of the audio. They made new renditions of the classic music instead of using Tommy Tallarico's Sega CD / Window redbook audio. Also, the voice actor is different since there are a few extra lines of dialogue. The co-op is pretty forgettable.

If you want some HD Earthworm Jim, by all means go for it, just be sure to play in "original" mode (removes boss health meters and arrows throughout the level).

And all the PixelJunk series (but I'm biased . Btw we are releasing a rather major update to PixelJunk Racers (free for owners of the original) with trophies and online ghosts competitive games.

 

I've really been looking forward to that PixelJunk Racer's update. Is there a date for non-Plus members yet?

 

It should be in 2-weeks. Although we've just found that the ranking system became quite broken (haven't found the reason yet, maybe not for all countries/users?) so it may requires a patch. After completing the Solo bits, a lot of the game revolve around Ghost competition so ranking is essential.

Muscle March is one hell of a funny game.
Sadly, Cave Story hasn't been released in PALtopia.
