Hey, just read the news about Fear multiplayer being downloadable for free very soon, and i decided to take a look at it. I already downloaded the single player demo long ago, but i've never played the multiplayer. What surprised me is that i read bullet time was included in the multiplayer matches!? I thought such thing would be impossible, and i'd like to know how it works. You can't slow down everyone, since that would make dull matches and everyone would take avantage of it, but you can't only make one player slow down while the others are at real speed. I don't understand. Anyone got the answer?
well i assume that the one player being slowed down will see everyone else move extra fast, thanks to the buffered moves that the other players made?
from what i know: ONE Player in the Match can get a Bullet Time Upgrade which have limited time. (10secs or sth like this). In this time he can make use of it and all others are slower than normal... but i´m not 100% sure.
This sounds like a HORRIBLE idea. If a noob with a crappy connection gets this item, he will have a huge advantage over everyone else. Also he will think he is so bad ass, too.
it's not too bad.. in multiplayer, only one person can have the 'bullet time' at once, kinda like a quad-damage pickup or whatever, and when used everyone goes into slow-mo, but also your aiming becomes slow-mo while the user of bullet-time can still aim at full speed, so it actually works out pretty ok.. and its on like a 1min timer so its not bein used all the time.
