Few comparison shots between the PSP and PS2, Updated!

Personally, I think that the 'Value Pack' we're getting as a $250 bundle is only a launch gimmick, I imagine that the second round of systems that hit US shores will be available in non-value pack form, probably for about $200, which would only give the DS a $50 price advantage.

I also believe that if Nintendo drops to $99, Sony will have no problem immediately dropping to $149. In addition, I think Sony knows that the PSP is aimed at something of an older demographic (i.e. parents NOT doing the shopping), and while that never worked with portables before (i.e. turbo express), it HAS worked with PS2, which has an average buyer age of like 29 or something like that.

 

Does anyone know if Tales of Eternia is being released for the PSP in America?

I've seen the japanese screenshots. More "Tales" games and RPG porting would really influence my decision to buy one or another system.

EDIT: Ah, I see theres two different Ape Escape games coming out for it.

 

Yeah: The kickass origional that I completed to 100%, and a sucky one that I hope never comes out in the US.
