I have some spare vouchers and can cover the cost of this (UK) Never played any of these before, more a pick up and play and then spend hours Is this worth a try?
My girlfriend's brother is spending almost his life on that game, I checked it quickly but it's not my type of games. He tells me it's the best game in the world, I told him no Shenmue's the best but doesn't believe me . If you like the FF in general I'm sure you'll like that one, my main non-motivation not playing it, is the amount of time you have to spend to play it properly. If you got time definitely worth checking it. Hope that helps Sabre
I would buy this game with caution. You need a HD, it has seperate monthly online fees regardless of live subscription, it takes about 6 hours to get up and running. I've read a few hardcore FF fans getting this and saying they would think twice about doing it again. Basically MS let SE break every rule they have for 360 to get this on the system.
In other words, it's exactly the same as setting up the game on either a PS2 or PC. No real suprises there. -hl718
wasn't there a checkbox for "I played at least one Final Fantasy game in my life" when you registered at ASSEMblergames.com? //edit: btw, this was meant for sabre470
Final Fantasy is not the best RPG around, when will people stop with that title already, they're driving me crazy! Chrono trigger was ^_^
FFXI is the best MMO on the market, ive got the JP PC version, US PC (though no extra expansions), my 2 Free PS2 versions, and now the 360 version. WoW= newbie MMO or for people who want to solo and play a quick game here and there FFXI requires dedication. Dont expect to get on, solo for an hour, and get anything done.
If you are a true fan of FF and don't like MMO's, then you will hate this game as it is not a real FF game. However, if you like MMO's you should be ok. I really wish Squeenix would stop acting like EA and ruining their franchises.
