Me and my mate just read through this theory about Final Fantasy 8 being a dream after disc 1 and gotta say mind=fucking blown.......:banghead: http://squallsdead.com/#disqus_thread Seriously if your a fan of 8 give this a read it will make you think about the story.
Hello everyone, I read through it. I don't agree with his theory. In my opinion I think some people think about this video game story a little too much. Whatever, lets just enjoy the game. :cur_sonic: :luigi:
We do, and they did. That is why they went the length to fish out any missing information about the game that they enjoyed so much. Also, after reading all of that it kinda struck something in me since I always thought it was weird that no explanation was ever given after Squall was pierced with that shard of ice. Great link!
loved the link. I always tought that there was something weird in the game, but never connected all the parts of it. it makes perfect sense to me. i felt the whole game moving in a strange way with strange events and talks. it do indeed feel a different game from disc one on.
Fixed that for ya. The number of idiots "discovering" how FF7 was the "best game ever" when I was in High School makes me wish to this day that the game had never been made.
Wow, after reading that, I think it does make a lot of sense. I wasn't conscious of the "break" after disc 1, but now that the writer mentions it, I guess it makes a lot of sense. Gee whiz!
Glad some people are enjoying the link  Its a good intake to one of my favourite games and offers explanations to points that I often questioned like Squalls wound suddenly disappearing.
I was linked it a few years ago, and its certainly interesting. Almost Roseanne-ish, if anyone has ever seen the ending to that series. There are/were some websites refuting it, but I cant remember where they were at.
The over Analysis of RPG story just shows Roger Ebert is a senile old fool and Video games Really are art.
Haha, I have this mindset about a lot of things even though I hate thinking this way. Probably most likely. Few things are truly brilliantly written. Then again I can't even take most literary analysis seriously half the time, so it may just be me.
