Just read somethings that are indeed worse than this.

Amazingly EA and Visceral managed to destroy a successful new IP on a single gen! I mean, Dead Space was all about tension and horror, a true survival game. Now it's just a monster shooting action circus. You have the same game mechanics from the first two, but with faster enemies, a lame cover system, grenades, human enemies, checkpoint saves, same ammo for all weapons and a weapon crafting system that seems lazy (why not new weapons?!) and looks like a total money grabber.

I won't even talk about the co-op thing, since it just killed the lonely tension feeling the game had in the first place. It might be a great game after all but they changed so much stuff is ridiculous. It's like Resident Evil 6 all over again.

And honestly, microtransactions on a 60 dollar game? Go to hell EA and Visceral! If i pick this game sometime in the future, i won't pay more than 5 bucks for it.

Don't forget BioWare with Mass Effect and Dragon Age. That makes at least 3 successful IPs EA ruined in a single gen.

I really wished developers would stop pushing co-op in survival horror (and just multiplayer in general). There is so much tension and fear when there isn't anyone there to save you.

People said it would never happen. They said the idea was ridiculous, that I was full of shit. Yet here we are. For shame.

Who'd a thunk this would ever happen, you know, considering EA TOLD US they were going to do stuff like this months ago. I'm not going to bother looking for the interview, you all probably know the one I'm talking about. The one where one of the suits at EA basically said "When you're in the middle of playing and you run out of ammo, you're not really a position to negotiate. You want more ammo, give us more money."

Remember people, EA was one of the first, if not THE first publisher to use online passes for their console games, and look at what happened with that. It's only a matter of time until other publishers take note and do the same thing with microtransactions.

Be thankful that they aren't (to the best of my knowledge) trying to shove in motion controls too. DS3 is definitely a rental now...

This isn't 2006. Forced motion controls for "real" games have been a thing of the past for years now.

Oh good grief. In a nutshell this game is an experiment to see if it's possible to make a new "unique" game on the iPad that will actually make money. Problem is that SE like all publishes have been used to selling $40.00 a minimum for any product or game that they make. On mobile marketplace stores you simple don't sell products at that price. Sooo.. micro transactions is the solution or so they think.

Best solution for you and me. 1) Don't buy the game. 2)Rate the game appropriately if possible so that every other idiot who burns money doesn't buy this game.
