Yeah concidering the ammount of final fantasy merch and the series popularity i find it strange you never see any FF collections (atleast i dont), are there any? maybe someone here on the boards specialise in FF?, care to show off
Yeah I have seen a bunch but it must be a truly scary task, consider how much Biohazard stuff there is compared to games in existence, collecting FF would just feel futile. I have collected some rare stuff - FF jewelry, only missing one of the limited lighters and the original squall necklace (which cost about a thousand pounds on release!) And I have an almost complete selection of OST, including the expensive FF7 first print, missing the original releases of the early ost. There is also such a big market for FF card collectors, some of the rare FF6 ones can cost about 50 quid each. But yeah, I love FF, but would not bother grabbing merch for the sake of completion - simply because competion would be near impossible.
well i was just thinking with the ammount of merch out there it has to be selling pretty well, and since the games are so popular im surprised not many more collect this stuff..? im not that into it myself but some of the stuff is high quality and very well made.
Well, there's a friend of mine who's quite hardcore when it comes to collecting FF stuff... I'll ask him about pictures.
games wise yes - other random ff related crap like t-shirts, posters and outfits - er no. I do have a sealed up glass FF Coca-cola bottle which I think is cool.
There are some hardcore FF collectors. Strange enough they seem to be more of the anime collector than the game collector so they don't often turn up of these boards. I have the FF orb from the Nintendo Power contest some sealed games and a bunch of protos. Thats about it. Do a search on ebay for final fantasy and you can find so much stuff its just crazy.
I have all the disc based ones on PS1 and PS2 except FF7 (which turned up missing and may turn up) and I have a gboy proto adventure II I think? with a different title screen and some other small changes.
Youre an evil, evil man. Any old FFXI ones? I doubt it but bleh. Ill let you know when I have more monies hah.
I couldn't tell ya. I still don't have the pS2 test unit I bought last year. I have tons of PS2 disks that I have never even tried who knows what will turn up. When it does finally show up I think I'll lose a weeks worth of sleep.
