Final Fantasy XI - PLEASE EXPLAIN!

A shop accross the road from me has a US copy of Final Fantasy XI(with HDD) for PS2... and a UK network adapter...

I have a TEST/Debug PS2... does anyone see any problems with me buying that setup and it working fine?

Also, does anyone else play XI?

nuts! Why not?

 

For some reason they do not run the utility disc's or the BB navi software or the US HDD setup browser software.

I think it has something to do with the bios mate.I could be wrong though.

Nope. Not unless you have a unit that is specifically enabled for that purpose. As a general rule of thumb though, Test and Debug units will not run utility discs...of any region.

dont worry you shouldnt ever play that game...unless you are trying to make real life more exciting in contrast (coming from an MMO lover its pretty boring)

FFXI is one of the best, if not the best, MMORPG out there. Although, if MCO was still out, id probably play that.

 

see if u can get it for pc as youll still play against the same people if they or ps2 pc or soon xbox360

 

FFXI is awesome! I'm playing that game for 8 months now. Around 1000 hours playtime & i still haven't seen half of it!

 

2 and a half years from me, started to play 6 months before the US beta

 

havent played any of it yet

nobody round here seems toi have it in stock, dam them all, well means more money for me to buy FFXII when its finally relased

 

I just wish PSU would hurry up and get released... Spring 2006... it better be a bloody good game!... and on PS2... WHY!
