According to 64DD.net the first 64DD game to be dumped has now been publically released.

    http://64dd.net/modules/news/article.php?storyid=121

I haven't found links to the dumps, nor have I tested them on common emulators.

But, if emulation was possible it would be a huge accomplishment. It would also probably help with the whole Blue Disk Saga (EB64).

But, anyone got any other news on this?
Anyone working on emulating these things?

I m looking forward for 64DD emulation as much as anyone, I m sorry if at times i ve had to keep some things under the hood .

The file that has been leaked was hosted *somewhere*, and has not been leaked by me. Nevertheless, the administrator of the place asked me whether to continue hosting the file, assuming that I had something to do with the dump.

It's not mine to own, so now that it's out in the open, I hope we ll see some interesting developments =)

I could've sworn there's already been a Mario No Photopie dump out there for quite a while now.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

mario no photopi is and never was a 64DD title. The dumps exist and dont function properly on emulators though.

Barc0de :eek:h: Not telling us about this? I'm sure you have good reason  I noticed that you are running the file under project 64 but I didn't think at it's current state that it could run DD64 games since no one has learned to dump them till now? Also this could be great news if we ever come across the Zelda URA disk and also could this be what we need to get cornys disks going to see what they really are?

People have known how to dump 64DD disks ever since the SDK was leaked like 8 years ago.

This is absolutely correct. It amazes me how the 9+1 games haven't been dumped so far.

There are ethics involved (as well as some copyright) in dumping DD games using the SDK, so perhaps this has been the barrier that many homebrew coders have faced.

Seeing how the 64DD is such a unique machine and how neglected its titles are by its own creator, Nintendo, I think the balance is being pushed towards making things public, albeit in a somewhat grey manner. Good luck to those who use DDDump, and I d advise they use alternative nicknames;p

Yeah we just need to wait for corny to get the right gear and this could be the thing to get it running

I didn't know they could dump the disks and it is puzzling why they all haven't been dumped :eek:h:

Happy 100 post to me :110:

Most likely this is a leak of Lac's DD dumps and Lac has zero interest in continuing with DD emulation/Dumping.

So it's not like this rom was just dumped last week. It's been floating on a few people's HDDs for a while now.
