First Public 64DD Dump

    IPL is compatible since it acts like a rom image but nobody i know has physical working emulation yet.

    Hell i've given my docs to a number of people including zilmar but nobody is actualy adding support yet.

    So then theres no way to use this 64DD game in project 64 till theres an update?

    Ah I see. I can't see that happening so I guess we will just have to wait till the update is out.

    WTF? What update you refering to. No emulator emulates the n64DD still. Zilmar atm has no interest in emulating the n64DD (he even has my notes documenting parts of it). Seeing the N64 logo with Mario running around is achive by modifying the boot IPL to run like a rom cart. This has nothing to do with the emulator and entirely to do with how the IPL is setup.

    Not mention but why do some emulators give an error and why others don't? Thats due to how the emulator handles illegal address read/writes. Most emu write 0 which makes the IPL not show an error. Others like PJ64 error out and return the upper half of the address which makes the IPL think there was an error communicating to the DD and results in an error message on screen.
