the first songs were released All it needs is some Alice in Chains Tool and Smashing Pumpkins maybe some Hendrix! http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/803/803853p1.html
I'm totally banking on Rock Band. Guitar Hero III seems to be shaping up pretty poorly imo... I can already tell it's not going to feel as good as GH I & II. But who knows, I haven't played it yet. Rock Band FTW!!
Yeah AND they didn't have access to the original code used for the previous GH games... Is the Guitar Hero name enough to sell Guitar Hero III? We shall see...
A "music" game (guitar, drums, rock band, whatever) that lets you play AC/DC songs would KICK SERIOUS ASS. Pitty whoever actually owns the AC/DC songs is so tightfisted about allowing them to be used for these games
The developer (Harmonex or whatever) of GH2 owns the rights to DLC and everything from GH2 I think, with GH3 being worked on at Activision seperately, so the songs cant just be added
Anyone else feel its going to get saturated, what with Rock band, GH3, and GH 80s all being released within a few months of eachother?
According to Kotaku, Metallica has signed on for Rock Band as well. Looking at it... Activision is making a HUGE mistake by giving teh franchise to someone whose never worked in the genre
Yeah, some Tool would be nice. Maybe Cold and Ugly since it has that solo near the end. Oh yeah, I'm going to meet Adam Jones in Los Angeles on August 4th. I figured since you're a Tool fan that you might get a kick out of that.
Do they sue you when you download their DLC? I used to be a huge metallica fan but the older I get the less I like Metallica the more I like Nine Inch Nails and Tool
The online multiplayer mode is going to kick serious ass. I hope they manager to deliver a MP mode with no lag
Blue Oyster Cult - "Don't Fear the Reaper" now thats a reason to get a 360 and this game i don't know if anyone will agree with me on this but i would love to see some HIM in here, they do have some great guitar peices in alot of their songs (Buried alive by love a good example) and i would buy that game even if i never had a 360 just for the fact they would have some HIM and evenualty get the console
Strange mixture of good, virtually unknown and piss poor songs listed there. As much as I liked Mountain in the 1970's I am not sure there are that many people who can remember them now, maybe I am wrong. Just surprised to see them there actually. I hate BOC "Don't fear the reaper" as it's one of those overly played songs and gets right on my tits. Not a fan of Rush at all. Sick fed up of Bon Jovi. Cannot STAND Wheezer. Give me the Ramones, Black Sabbath, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Metallica and Strokes. The rest...baaa!
