Fixing an xbox v1.0

Modchip is the way to go for a more faster fix, since you can bypass the clock error. Some bioses won't ignore this by default, so make sure the bios you're going to use has this disabled.

Also the XBOX simply won't read any USB stick larger than 512MB, it won't even format it. Also depends on what USB you're using as well. I know my 8GB stick doesn't get detected at all.

 

I swear I once got my XBox to format a 2gb Sansa Express once. Nearly killed the thing but I was able to run the Splinter Cell exploit on it.

 

I having problems burning the hexen disc I found, anyone here have the disc? maybe my iso is bad. That's the only thing left, I already installed the chip.

I have used Imgburn, Nero, with cd-r, dvd-r, dvd+r. It always get stuck at %96 and the give an error. I downloaded the iso from the isozone.

Well finally made it to burn maybe it wars the quality of the discs, sad that I have to use a good brand just for 500mb.

Xbox will read up to 4gig (limit) USB, i find a Sandisk Cruzer works well to transfer files using file manager in XBMC.
