I already have arcade monitor to but it's to biger to move easily (32" en 16/9) hum hum ^^ and I dont know if this monitor is fonctional on 15khz but fm or X68K on a big size monitor why not
If it's a 16:9 32" monitor, I would guess not. Sounds like it's for a gun con game like HOTD4. I'm referring to a 28" monitor that goes in a standard cab. That one definitely doesn't. Look in the "What's your TV when it comes to gaming" thread in General Gaming. I have a picture of mine therel.
this monitor comme of a new steel cabinet it work in 15khz but not in 31khz (i have just found the manual -_- finaly i' stay with my idea of adaptator cga to vga from starcab for the begining. I think buy a monitor with my X68K when I would I have found th XVI of my dream ^^
An Amiga "multisync" monitor should do the job? Not the old Commodore 1084 monitors (15kHz only), but the newer ones which are bisync 15kHz + 31kHz such as Commodore 1940, 1942 or better. They handle both 15kHz interlaced and 31kHz progressive fine. If you convert 15kHz interlaced to 31kHz progressive there must be some kind of deinterlacing involved. The resultats are not always the best: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interlace
yes the commodore monitor is the best in europ for this but they are verry difficult to found -_- if you now sommebody who shelle one contact me here ^^ or in MP thank you in advance.
You might want to ask in the shmups hardware forum, or maybe killercabs.com forums. Plenty of people in Europe that know a lot about monitors. How many games on the FM-Towns are in 31khz anyway?
I don't know how many games run in 31khz but almost all shooting games run in this mode in arcade games , plateform, RPG, hentaï, it is most difficult to know -_-. Finally I have 5 real games who I can't play -_- it's for this reason who I use ISO for test in real condition before buy a beautifull game box ^^ but this probleme will should soon be resolved. if my alternative solution give me satisfaction (starcabCGA/VGA adaptator) I tell you in this forum for the futur fm towns builder in my condition.
I'm surprised that there still doesn't exist an affordable (ie, <$50 USD) solution to this problem. I've always wanted one of the XRGB's, but the price was always a huge problem for me... I would have thought that over the years, the Amiga community would have managed to build something economical, as this is a huge problem in the Amiga world. --Zero
Here's a list of VGA multisync monitors: http://nfggames.com/wiki/doku.php?id=av:combo Something here too (probably the same info): http://www.best-electronics-ca.com/monadapt.htm
Well, I figure if they can make money selling PCI busboards, then surely there's a market for scandoublers... Amiga stuff is never cheap though. --Zero
Amiga, Atari, fm towns, X68K, PC88/98 they have more charmed who modern PC and others next gen consoles ^^
