I eat meat too, I am no vegan or vegetarian. But some of the food I eat now are probably what could be considered vegan and vegetarian, thanks to my missing gallbladder.
I'm not a massive fan of PETA and their euthanasia figures trouble me and their methods seem only to turn people against animal rights rather than supporting them I'm a vegetarian and I cannot stress enough how much fur upsets me. But PETA never seem to actually gain much support, for every supporter they gain they seem to alienate a thousand more people, their general message is noble but their methods are incredibly flawed. I wasn't actually going to bother commenting until I saw this. No offense but this suggests a scarce knowledge about how nutrition actually works. Proteins are in EVERYTHING edible which has at some point been alive, while not all plants are rich in digestible proteins, you don't need nuts to reach your recommended daily allowance, they are by no means the only plant product which contains it. For example, soya products are all good, so are beans, peas and even pasta is a decent source of it. Regardless, this is the 21st century, even if you don't eat enough, you can quite easily take a trip to a supermarket or a health food shop to buy these magical things called food supplements. Disagree with veganism if you must, but at least get your facts straight. I'm not a vegan myself but that's down to a lack of self control and lack of edible alternatives more than anything else.
militant animal "rights" "vegan" "activists" irk me under any banner. Did I ask to be lectured? Attacking me for what I eat is not going to make me sympathetic to their "cause" Why do they have to make up catagories and niches for what people eat, where I come from people eat "food" Who are these people, are they really so lonely and pathetic that they need to dedicate their lives to something this pointless?
If you don't hate PETA, you shouldn't be posting. The title of this thread clearly reads "For PETA haters only!!!"
Except for PETA these people might as well be nonexistent. I've never met a single vegan who meets this stereotype.
Some animals eat each other, I've never understood angry vegetarians or vegans. Let them kick and scream about it. I do love animals that's for sure, and I'm totally against abusing them though.
This is in someway farming http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=JcAUa6e3x0s#! I'm actually what people call "vegan", it came naturally and gradually. Nowadays, there's plenty of protein alternative. Maybe I was too curious at first, but it benefits lots of aspect for the environment, health and understanding where your food come from to name a few. I'm not against meat at all, but I think people would benefits a lot of eating less meat. I can't say if I hate or love PETA. I didn't see any statistics if their campaign works or not.
I'm sorry but PETA is a joke. I assume no one here is an user at Nintendo Age? There's a thread about the latest PETA campaign: http://features.peta.org/pokemon-black-and-white-parody/ And the series is all about the relationship between Pokémons and Trainers, battling against evil forces and trainers who exploit those Pocket Monsters. I'm not sure if PETA were ever serious at some point, but now they're just a crude joke. Play their game parody to feel forever ashamed that they're actually part of our human race
Jersey Shore. I don't know if that is a good thing but it is an improvement. Pokemon Black and Blue would make a fun parody hack. Ponyta show anyone?
Definitely. It'll hit home with the young (16-25) people that buy animals when they move into new houses. Rather than going to some backwards ass breeder instead going to a shelter. Finally going after a reasonable cause.
LOL Pokemon is animal abuse since they force the pokemon to fight, amirite guys? LOL why don't they just shoot them with guns? Took them over a decade to finally figure out one of the most played out video game jokes, second only to "LOL Mario eats mushrooms!!! This game is so wacky!!!"
I'm not a fan of the oatmeal, but this comic is relevant Who said animals can't be psychopathic murder machines? Oh right, the smelly fucking hippies from peta...
