I sell what ever people want - if you want Stealth 2.8a I can do that. You asked for 3x MM3 - so I sent 3 MM3. I cant do the research for everyone - I assume by the time you are buying from me, you have decided what you want.

MM3 works with the SCPH-1002, but doesnt offer much in the way of stealth protection IIRC

Its a decoupling cap, it should connect between VCC and GND - helps provide stable power to the chip. Not always required, but best practice and also resolves issues people have had when everything SHOULD work.

You can leave it out if you want.

Hi, thanks. NW, I'm happy with my purchase, I received what I ordered, I'm just pretty new to the PS1 modding, repair, etc. So my journey is just starting, so far all I've done are simple repairs like Sega Game Gear capacitors replacement, NES region free and the sort.

    Brilliant thank you :)

1 more question... I've been following the Wolfsoft guide here: http://wolfsoft.de/wordpress/?p=603

Pin 2 of the Pic16F630, going by the colour coded diagram, connects to CIC pin 7 (once removed). However in the guidance photographs, Pic16F630 pin 2 is connected to a different chip. Does it matter?

CIC pin 7 and the leg of the chip you see in the picture are directly connected. The chip in the picture is easier to solder.

So no, it doesnt matter which you use

    Awesome cheers!

You should consider writing a guide. I'm not very knowledgable of SNES hardware, and for people like me tips like that help a bundle :loyal:

The English forum link on the Wolfsoft site is down...

Hi if possible i'd like to order from the US. I'd like 3x MM3 chips they are for 2 SCPH-5501 systems and 1 SCPH-7501. All 3 are NTSC/US region. Can you PM me a quote when you have a moment please?

Got my kits, installed the PS1 mod - must see about a kit to allow NTSC games work on a PAL system - 4.433MHz crystal I can't get anymore is needed :( any suggestions?

SNES SuperCiC kit also installed - works a treat! Cheers Bad_Ad84! Will buy more kits in the future, but this time my math will be better

Yup, tried that and for some reason it is still B&W. Thought the cable wasn't RGB when it came up B&W but opened it the SCART end and it had 3 capacitors in there from a quick check. Must check again :)
