I have two of them. Opened to verify the packaging, includes the harddrive, and needed power adapter. Pictures coming later on in the night.

75$ Each, shipping at cost in a medium flat rate box.

The v1 and v2 are regular SCPH-30001 consoles with expansion bay, so they would use a standard HDD or the official HDD for those models (SCPH-10260) internally. Only the v0s (SCPH-10000, SCPH-15000 and SCPH-18000) use the external one.

Edit: it's designed for the Test (look like regular consoles with "TEST" on top) since it's a DTL-H20400; the TOOL (that huge one) has disk already in it. The one designed for regular SCPH-1x000 consoles is the SCPH-20400.

Actually, while my DTL-T10000H is sitting enjoying a DTL-H20400 drive right atm. It simply needs to be a DTL-T10000H or a DTL-T10000 with the H sticker retrofitted as the units came back in for upgrade so they could use the PCMCIA card that the drive plugs into.

    Regards,

I've got a Japanese "Debug" PS2, SCPH-10000 I think that's what model it is, with just a PCMCIA slot.

Will this HD work on that? Does it need any drivers loaded on a Memory Card for it to work? If so, are they included?

    Thanks.

All that is included is the harddrive, and the appropriate power supply. I don't know if it'll work on there or not.

As far as I know, you'll need the right PCMCIA card (DTL-H10030?) too to connect it to a DTL-H10000. The SCPH-10000 (retail console) used a drive with different firmware, or something along those lines.

These HDD's will work fine on SCPH-10/15/18000. The hardware is exactly the same as the retail SCPH-10210/10390/20400.

You'd have to find an SCPH-10190 (as it doesn't seem to be included) and either HDD Utility Disc 1.0, or a BB Navigator disc to get it running though.
