Normally Games for Gold on Xbox 360 is nothing to look forward too, but the one for this week, Dark Souls, is too good of game to not pass up. For any of you who some how don't have a copy of it. Download it now, its free http://news.xbox.com/2014/05/games-june-games-with-gold
I can't because I live in Japan We got some launch title instead. Also, in the past I could just log on to the UK server and download stuff with a UK Gold account. Now I can't even do that because Microsoft have stopped people doing it. Arse holes!
I don't have XBL Gold, although I do have a 360. I think if I were going to play this game, I'd want to play the PC version. I've been thinking about getting a bigger HDD for my 360 and downloading a bunch of XBLA games before Microsoft stops supporting the 360. There are quite a few games on XBLA that I'd like to get - like Hydro Thunder Hurricane, Beyond Good & Evil HD, and possibly Rez. Also, between now and a few years from now is probably a good time to stock up on 360 and PS3 discs. They're already pretty cheap, and they're likely to get even cheaper in the coming years.
I want a way to remove the limit Microsoft have on HDD sizes and the amount you can use. As it is the max space you can have on a standard 360 HDD is 250gb which I own then I use two 64gb fast USB sticks. I would have more USB sticks attached but 2 is the most you can add. I bought a 1TB HDD but the 360 would only use 64gb of it So I now use that with my PC. Anyway, about Dark Souls. Bought a new copy on Amazon Japan (US version) for 1000 yen so I'm happy about that. It is shit though the way all "Z" rated games over here can't be given away free. What a load of crap.
Yeah, but they won't play in a normal 360 right? Plus CD-R can't hold enough space for most XBLive games these days.
To be precise, you're only allowed to use 32GB per USB drive/stick with the current X360 dash. And the biggest official Xbox 360 HDD is 320GB. That bring said, I also hope to see the cap being removed, 500GB or 1TB would be perfect.
Actually it can as a matter of fact ;-) i've ran my XBLA games without Xbox Live the first time i gotten my 360. If you need a quick tutorial on it, here it is: http://digiex.net/guides-reviews/gu...olders-cd-dvd-blu-ray-disc-using-imgburn.html
You can get them here: http://digiex.net/downloads/download-center-2-0/xbox-360-content/arcade-game-trials/ http://digiex.net/downloads/download-center-2-0/xbox-360-content/delisted-marketplace-content/ http://digiex.net/downloads/download-center-2-0/xbox-360-content/demos/
Pirating a demo? Doubtful. It isn't the full game. If Microsoft didn't want the functionality, they would have patched it out long ago.
No, since these are actual demos/Arcade trials tooken directly from Xbox Live Marketplace. which would mean they're pretty legit
