I ended up ordering the US version of No More Heroes (For stylistic reasons) and Trauma Center - New Blood (Still no EU version announced). May grab a US version of Smash Bros soon too, unless a PAL date shows up really soon.
You did well Carnivol. The best of all versions of No More Heroes is the US one, since it's the most uncensored one. I think everyone should own the US version, and if they own a Wii, they should own the game. It's simply addictive.
Both naruto shipuden games and propably more anime/managa related games that haven't seen a western release or where butchered on their way to the USA/Europe
I'm waiting on the next firmware upgrade to hit to see if it breaks compatibility like it did with the GC Freeloader.
Just orderd me a disc. Should hopefully have it next week.. Now to find me a US copy of No more heroes on fleabay.
Lemme know how it works, I'm always a bit squeemish when it comes to first revision products like that.
A warning to people that consider buying this product. It has now been confirmed that Datel makes no guarantee that the product will work on future updates. Personally I kind of suspected that when I first heard about it, but decided that I buy it anyway as the price was low and I really only want it for no more heroes. But I'm sure other people here might have bigger plans for it.. so I thought I should lift up this potential issue to those people.
Got the disc last friday and No More Heroes yesterday. Works fine so far  But I wont update my Wii until I've at least finished the game (and replayed the game a few times) ;-) Hopefully *N* wont fix this one if I ever need to import any games again.
According to rumors latest update will render the trucha signer (and the freeloader) useless. So if you bought the disc and are in the middle of a imported game, don't update.
Looks like datel have released a load of crap t hen if the first update renders the freeloader useless. Yakumo
Can anyone confirm if the new Freeloader works fine with the japanese Version of Starfox Adventures and F-Zero GX?
• WII FREELOADER IGNORES THE NECESSITY OF CHECKING FOR GAME UPDATES; THUS ALLOWING THE GAME FILES TO BE PLAYED SAFELY WITHOUT ANY RISK OF BRICKING YOUR WII CONSOLE. Doesn't that mean you don't need to run updates to play the latest games?
Unfortunately no... Wii games need a specific IOS (kernel if you will) version to run (which is included in the update). You can reinsert the freeloader disc before booting the import and freeloader will allow the update of the IOS to run but will block updates of the wii menu/channels (so you don't end up with duplicates, etc). At least that's how I understand it. Btw here's a related blog entry by tmbinc.
No need for freeloader anymore: http://tehskeen.com/modules.php?name=News&file=showarticle&threadid=7003
