C'est fantastique! Wish I could paint like that haha I would kill for that sonic adventure one, and indeed the sonic gamegear and megadrive. The dead mario chracters are a bit creepy though
Nice! but we have to send the assembler shock team to france and secure those dreamcasts If only one hipster takes a look at the Rez one, we're fucked Having a Dreamcast will be cool, because....."ironic!" What, you dont believe me? take a look: And thats with a X360 controller...
She has ink. Instant hotness. Anyway, very nice paintwork there! If that guy sold them he'd make a killing sure.
Those custom paintjobs really don't do anything for me, though I can appreciate that some people love that kind of thing. I once tried painting a Saturn before, only to give up because I couldn't get the finish right (for the record, I was trying to recreate the prototype machine's colour scheme, including the early disc lid text). Perhaps in the future I'll look into that textured spray paint that feels like concrete, as the original PlayStation 2 has already reminded me of some miscoloured monolith. As a former design and architecture student, it would combine two of my favourites - gaming and "brutalist" movement constructions - perfectly. By the way, has anyone else ever seen or heard of the Unite Tower (AKA Sky Plaza) in Leeds? I find this university accomodation block so uncannily resembles a vertically-mounted PS2 that I'm sure it must have been a subconscious decision to tap into the student past time of choice... well, at least it was for me! What makes you think of it as ugly? Is it the fact that the top portion and the bottom are out of proportion?
Damn, some of those are NICE. I hope he puts on several layers of clear coat or something to protect those paint jobs. No point in going through all of that only for the paint to discolor from the lack of a UV resistant clear coat.
