I'd buy that if I was in the States. Good price IMO given the overclocking mod.

overclocking the PSX / PSone console from stock 33.6 MHz to 64 MHz.

    No extra cooling needed

Will not burn out laser faster, as the mod has nothing to do with the laser only the motherboard.

The mod work just fine with a mod-chip

This mod main goal is to increase loading speed (by around 4secs+) and get rid of slow downs in game [FFIX, CTR, Twisted Metal]

In OC mode you will noticed some static, some game show very little while other show a lot.

This is the guide I followed

For overclocking have you considered piping in the new clock signal using a crystal instead? Could be that the new clock is too high and something even a few megahertz lower would do just fine and eliminate the static.

I'm going to be looking into that.
I read one of your post that you tried to OC a PSX/PSone.
    Did you add a crystal?
    How did it turn out?

I was trying to figure it all out using PSOne schematics. The boards for the one I was working on was made out of something really cheap and it basically fell apart when I tried to lift the pin. I was a lot more inexperienced then so I'm sure it would be easy for me to do this now.

Quick question mainly for curiosities sake, I've never heard of this "color correction" modification being done before you posted about it in here. From what I understand you need to either modify it with a "color correction board/circuit" or use a SCART cable that handles RGB as opposed to whatever you use that does composite (probably not entirely accurate there).

My question is, just how bad does it look without this corrective measure?

    - NTSC 60Hz, 3.58 MHz color carrier (standard for NTSC)
    - PAL 50Hz, but something different from the standard 4.433 MHz PAL color carrier. This happens in PAL mode because the quartz crystal and PLL used are specified for NTSC frequency only. The TV can't detect this nonstandard frequency of the color carrier and you have black and white on PAL games.

You have to do the color modification so your PSX/PSone will output the following:
    - NTSC 60Hz, 3.58 MHz colour carrier (standard for NTSC)
    - PAL 50Hz, 3.58 MHz colour carrier (standard for NTSC)
Your TV must allow a 50Hz video signal (PAL standard) with a 3.58 MHz color carrier (NTSC standard).

The modification is done by cutting one track on the back of the motherboard and by linking one pin of the video generator IC to 3.3V

They are Region Free ONLY. They do not boot Back-Ups.

How much for shipping 1, 2 and 3 systems in Greece?

USPS quotes with insurance please. I dont care if its priority or express. I would rather go with something cheaper and wait 3-4 longer.

Send me a pm when you have the shipping quotes

    Regards
