    • Prices are in UK GBP (£)
    • Prices exclude postage/shipping costs
    • Payments accepted via PayPal GIFT ONLY
    • TRADE: See my WTB thread

These first 2 units have both have serial port no.1 covers missing and have seen better days. The unit on the left has come scrapes across the jewel (could be replaced with a retail) and across the front plate and a few bashes on the underside. The right hand unit is a little better but has a large dyno label across the front which reads 'Network Gamecube PAL' and also some writing on the underside which reads 'Network-SDE'. Both seals are still intact and both units have been tested and work perfectly.
As small as they are, they are currently taking up room I don't have so am looking to sell these fast at a mere £55 (Only left side unit available now)

This next unit is in much better condition and has all serial port covers present. Seal is intact and the unit works perfectly. I am looking for a little more for this unit (I really do mean a little). SOLD![IMG]

I can pretty much guarantee you won't find NR readers this cheap anywhere else either now or in the future so grab them whilst you can.

Would be so tempted, but I wouldn't have much use for one besides being a great collector's item, which is something I just can't afford right now :[

VERY nice price - as above, I'd snap these up if I wasn't low on funds myself.

Unfortunately the £65 unit had been sold and paid for before you posted in the thread (and sent me a PM).

I have replied to the PM and removed the unit. Just the 2 £55 units left now!

    Interesting!

If you look at the PAP-**** models, they say "DOT-001".
However, the PNRR-**** says "DOT-001P" and says "Development Tool" on the sticker.

Also, the PAP models say L-DOT-NR, but the PNRR says "L-DOT-NR-EUR" (It also has the CE logo on it.)

Too bad there isn't an easy way to get a datecode. I would be interested in seeing exactly how far apart there were made.
Could you tell me what color start menu they have? (http://www.gc-forever.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=1004)

If the PAP is red, I'll take it. Although I don't really expect it to be.

Thanks, and sorry for the discourse.

    Mine is PNRR.
Maybe they changed the name when it achieved CE certification as a modification was needed to pass so they'd know if there was a fault or something?

I had noticed the differences myself but can't think of any logical reason as to why it would have changed.

Just tested the start menu for you and they are both purple!

The PAP unit is actually dates 2001 Nintendo where as the PNRR unit is dates 2000 Nintendo which kind of makes that theory null and void.

The only logical thing I could think was that they just used an NTSC/JAP case but PAL innards?! (Obviously it is missing the region switch which always makes that theory questionable).

The units I am keeping are PNRR (PAL unit) and NRR (NTSC/JAP unit).

The pap unit has been officially serviced. I had some like that, they had a sheet of trouble shoot stickers.

You'd write the problem, slap it on the bottom, and mail it off.

They would make a new serial, close it up, and a new warranty sticker.
On NPDP systems, the stickers can be special "nintendo serviced"
    "nintendo upgraded"

The Pap unit has character, if I didn't have NR readers like cordwood in my basement,
that would be the one for me.

Another had now been sold which just leaves the unit on the left side of the pictures to go (PAP serial number).
I can guarantee you won't find another unit this cheap so grab the last one whilst it is still available... you'll kick yourself when it has gone if you don't.

    *** BUMP ***

This really is the last of the NR readers I will be selling and at a mere £55 I am amazed it's still here, but it is! Grab yourself an absolute bargain whilst you can!

People need to buy this before I do it myself. Kiff already has enough of my money :)
