You need a picture with your username on a piece of paper and assemblergames.com next to the item for sale. Please add that.

    Dot50Cal,

Will do that ASAP... First thing when I get home tonight. I totally forgot to do that. My bad.

    Jeff.

PS. Parris, if it had TEST on it, I'd buy it from myself :)

If only you could lower the price more =) (say by including only the game and not the movies). PM me with a price if possible.

Curse you! Was originally looking for the 60GB model, and gave up after several places (including walmart.com with a package deal) either sold out altogether or relied on other sellers (amazon). Was looking at NTSC-J 360, and now you have this...why?:crying:

    Guys:

Crap, I was putting the ps3 in the box (getting it ready to ship) and I noticed it said "NTSC" on the back, then it dawned on me that this might not work in the UK. Is this correct? Will this model NOT work in the UK because it can't be switched to PAL?

If this is the case, I'm sorry not to mention that.

    Jeff.

The power supply is universal IIRC. Though you obviously wont be able to play UK PS2 games, or region coded Blu-rays.

    PS3 games are region free.

Yea, the power is universal (I have both types of plugs though) ... But won't the UK have issues with it being NTSC? and not a PAL ?

Another words, I probably can only sell to US because of the Video format. Correct?

    Thanks
    Jeff.

My last UK telly was able to display both PAL & NTSC (hence, I'm still using it here in the US). It's my understanding that many/most UK sets can display NTSC via video inputs (just not thru the RF tuner). And just about every modern component capable LCD/plasma set I've seen happily handles both PAL/NTSC.

As Dot50Cal said, UK PS2 games + region coded BluRay (and R2 DVDs) are the main things that'll be missing.

Use the HDMI port and the NTSC issue disappears. This is how I got around the Japanese unit I have.

Plus I have lost track of what features the various models in various regions have (curse you Sony!) so does the US 20Gb have PS2 compatibility? The UK version doesn't. Again the HDMI port solves the NTSC issues across the board (i.e. all output). The only thing is that the first time someone plugs it into a TV they need to use the standard cables and most UK TV's (good quality ones) can handle NTSC these days, even if it looks a tad fuzzy (or is that how American TV always looks ;-)) once set up, you simply switch to HDMI and the crystal clear image appears!

yes, only 20gb/60gb versions have emotion engine in them, so ps2 fully compatible.

That makes it far more confusing for the average PS purchaser. You'd expect the cheaper, lower spec 20Gb unit to be stripped of any bc, not the larger and more expensive 40Gb! Who the hell comes up with these daft bloody decisions?

The 20GB model isn't officially for sale anymore.

You have your choice of 40GB (no BC at all) or 80GB (software BC only).

IIRC the PS3 will automaticaly switch to HDMI output if it's connected correctly, even the first time. (At least mine did that)

80Gb? Did you mean 60? Also there are piles of 20Gb still available on this side of the pond. Any quick trip into town will demonstrate that there are rows of unsold stock. If you want a 20Gb, it's currently still very much available, official or not.
