I'll ship worldwide, as long as the shipping cost is covered by the buyer(shipping from the US).
    Any questions etc, please ask.

    1. What region is this unit originally for?
    2. It'll play any retail PS1/2/3 game right?
    3. Are firmware updates the same as with a retail unit?
    4. The HDD can be swapped out for a 320GB one in the same way as a retail unit right?
    5. O can be set as "go" and X as "no" like a JPN retail unit right?
    6. It has 4 USB ports and the card readers right?
    7. Does it play DVD and Blu-Ray discs, and if so to what region is it locked?

    1. No specicifc region. Says 100-240V on the back, and you can change region in debug settings.
    2. Yes.
    3. No, it has its own updates.

I'm interested, mainly for the any region any format of PS game feature. I could get rid of a whole bunch of hardware.

The only thing putting me off is the firmware updates. Would this be easy for me to do? Bear in mind I'd be using the unit just to play retail games.

Also it'll connect to the PSN and Home like a retail unit yes?

Theres an option to change what PSN you connect to. You can select if it connects to the retail or the debug PSN.

It can still play video, so you could theoretically rip bd's and play the mp4s.

Bad timing really, if I had been home and such, I might have been able to gather the funds for it
