FTP server created

Hi Ricky, you're something to do with Hongxing's FTP too?

I appreciate that everyone is busy, but the Uploads directory has some stuff that was uploaded nearly 2 weeks ago and hasn't been checked.

For this thing to work, we need the administration to happen a little quicker, otherwise it isn't a community dump, its just a way for you to get free stuff without having to do anything.

However, I think 98% of the crap in that upload directory is incomplete. Seems like a bunch of people felt like uploading a few kb of files just as a tease.

 

what can i do in his f t p ?i don't thing people will say" xxxx is my upload"
may be HongXING ready get he want(dev stuff)
so he now is busy.hahaha ( just unzip and check i don't think it use too much time )

 

Well guys, I have watched this space for a while and after looking for two weeks at the upload folder getting stuffed I would like to say that I could put up an ftp server too.
It would be slower than the current one but it would be online 24/7 and I could check the files a bit quicker I think.
Or maybe I could setup a mirror ftp site.
Well let me know what you think people.

I upped some more stuff (obviously where), hongxing, take whatever likely some of it's "released" I hope you know what I mean...

Hello,

I tried a couple of times to upload some Devevelopment Tools for the PC-FX that I have. I have two sets of Dev kit in possesion.

But everytime the FTP connection stops and I can't resume upload it seems also that the upload folder is full.

How much space can we use on the upload?

Shall I split the files in 10 or 20 meg for convenience?

First of all the FTP was made for established users with neutral to good intentions in mind. Secondly the FTP is unmaintained and all of the latest files are held hostage in the upload folder so unless Hongxing reappears and does something to change the situation, all your uploads are in vein (I hope you would contribute...)

Start your own new server, give some handouts and others will contribute

If you want to upload your Wonderwitch SDK to an ftp where everyone can access it, you could try the one im hosting currently (http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4243). Yakumo's ftp might be an option to, but I think its still closed for bandwith purposes (I can't get on it at least).

 

Maybe it was always planned as a bottomless pit to get all the goodies? -_- I would advise against uploading anything to an FTP again unless ASSEMbler himself made or approved the account.
