Hi there, found an Car Marty for about $5 in a recycle store, but unfortunately the AV-cable was not with it. so therefore i will ask you experts in here about the pin-out. i would very appreciate it, if someone can tell me something about it.

Not too sure what you mean. The main funny bit goes in the car marty (not sure what its little brother is for )..the r/y/w in the tv. (Bottom row is keyboard, mic, fd)

If you have a car marty in front of you, rear facing you as above, the pin list above must be read right to left..so top row 2nd/9th/10th in from right, (or 2nd, 3rd and 10th from the left) etc

yes. just talking about the left side up place rectangle connector. this are the pinouts for the audio/video, but i have no clue, which connectors goes to which of the plugs (yellow, red, white) :-( ..if i know that, i easy can make a harness between the marty to the tv :)

    also...

I think there's also a way to connect the wires using the car wiring harness. I've never tried doing it but I've seen people selling with with screen shots where they don't have the Home Use Kit. Not that the wiring harness will be any easier to find but at least it is one other possibility.

Yeah an auction recently had piccies of a car marty running without the home kit..but the seller had taken his tv out to the car. Presumably he didn't have a suitable psu to use it indoors.

    Connector

I have a Car Marty connector, but it has a male s-video connector, instead of the A/V connectors and the power connectors. I also have the box.

If you're interested, I'd be willing to sell it for $10 + shipping.

    hi cdoty,

If you're interested, I'd be willing to sell it for $10 + shipping.

So you mean, you have that strange male connector for pluging into the car marty to receive a S-video signal to the TV? that would be great :icon_bigg
and the box for the car marty you also have? so where is your marty gone?

so i'm very interessting in your offer, how we can do the payment? i'm livin' in yokohama and you in houston?

    greets
    tatsu :)

I got the connector when I purchased a keyboard for the FM Towns.

    Do you have paypal?

Do you have an FPO/APO address (United State military)?

If not, I could send it airmail. That would be cheaper if it was sent without the box.

I've been to Yokohama, but can't remember much about it. In the Navy, we ported in Yokosuka a lot, and it must've been close to that.

I think Yokohama is where I saw the FM Towns Marty in a game shop (in late 1991/ early 1992).

I appologize, I have been out of town almost constantly for the past month (5 days home).

I will post pictures on Wed night, and find out the shipping charges. Do you want it shipped Surface, Air Mail, or EMS?
Surface probably won't save you much money and could take a month, or longer.
