Yeah. While it's shitty to remove features, there are way better tools available for free that are light years ahead of Sound Recorder.

This isn't something I could get angry about, to be honest.

 

I made my first remix in sound recorder, but that remix has been lost in the sands of time. Unless some day a Depeche Mode fan makes it available some where. Cause that particular mix did get a small release.

I'm not trying to be antagonistic, I'm just wondering why the instant response is to start removing posts. Aside from anything else, lots of posts in this thread will inevitably have a political aspect, and a little off-topic doesn't kill anyone either way.

Unless it gets personal and nasty/aggressive/etc, I don't think moderators should step in. Discussion is, after all, what a forum is for.

 

The posts haven't been deleted. I moved them all to the un-moderated thread. Rules are rules anyway, no politics at all except in the un-moderated section. People read this thread for a laugh not to read about politics no matter how light it may be. Let's all keep it that way :nod:

Dont move your eyes away from the black dot and the color remains.
You can also try to move your eyes around slightly, the images will turn B&W, but if you go back to the dot the color will come back.

Fair enough. As long as they're not deleted outright that's cool. I know that moving stuff around is more work for you, so it is appreciated.

 

If anyone seriously uses WSR for recording stuff on windows you seriously shouldn't be recording at all.( I don't really mean that, but you get what I mean)
I used to use it for un-seriously recording stuff when i was younger, but that was only out of ignorance.

You can use better free programs for that, like Goldwave or audacity.

Even REAPER (A professional DAW) has an unlimited evaluation version with no limitations.

 

I used it to quickly convert sounds for CS :thumbsup:
