    I actually like the Flashback 2 better than the first Flashback. I own the flashback 2, and still use it quite often.

    Got it for like 300 pesos from wal-mart like 4 years ago or so.

    Good system, in my opinion. The joysticks are pretty cool. The old ones would sort of fall apart, the "rubbery" part would become dislodged and fall off the actual plastic stick.

    These have a screw, and you can actually unscrew the stick on them. Also, they work wonders on the original hardware. I use them there, too.

    That video always irritated the pedant in me because it's impossible to do that in Windows (samples loop without play being clicked). Don't get me wrong, a remix involving stock Windows sounds is fun but the way the video pretends it's realtime still rubs me the wrong way.

    Same here. For all we know it could have been done in a £40k recording studio with an animated overlay.

    Nevertheless I still admire people who think of these things in the first place.

    Maybe they altered the sound recorder code to allow you to control parts of it with the keyboard or something. Maybe 2 people did it at the same time.
