I don't know what's more annoying - the whining over Steve Jobs' death or those tons of pictures reminding us that there was another supposedly super-unknown guy who was way more important. Boohoo. If a rockstar dies, there's gonna be a lot of salutes and sadness in the world. Probably a lot more than when a nobel price winner who discovered an important antidote dies. But that's how the world works, be a rockstar and you get what you get. Be humble and you get what you expected from this way of behavior/living your life.

I didn't attack you man! I am just wondering why it's such a big issue still. 4 weeks after Jobs had died, I didn't hear any news mentioning him anymore. And considering what kind of a showman he was, it's not very surprising that he gets praised a lot. Not only for his achievements, but also because what he made out of himself and what Apple became after he returned as a CEO. That's something not to be underestimated. He might not have invented C, but he was very clever and extremely successful in marketing and leadership. It's not like he was a stupid jerk who did not do anything for his success and now all of a sudden he's a hero!

And of course inventing C is a groundbreaking effort in computer history. However, doing something with it is too. Or would you say that Henry Ford was the only one who is significant and has got to be remembered when it comes to the car industry just because he made the first big step?

Funny enough, if you take: "ataque das corujas" in google translate, it auto detects the language as Spanish but is unable to translate properly until you manually choose Portuguese :lol:
