A few months back I posted on the student room about an ICT Grade I got. Anyway a few people who were going to attend the big 2 decided that it would be fun to take the piss out of me because it was to them a 'fail' grade (it was a B actually) and banged on about there 10 or so A*'s at gcse and there grades at A Level. However in The computer section this same fucktards were also asking the simplest questions (One was how to drag and drop on a mac IIRC). They had gotten high grades at everything school teaches (Im under the assumption they paid their way there) but had fuckall in the way of actual practicle skills.

That's the way of the world I'm afraid to say. In my wife's company (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries) all the people at the top who do no work yet get paid way too much money are as thick as pig shit. Just because they went to a famous university is like an instant pass to a high paid job even though they know fuck all about it.

Many times here in Japan people have said to me "I went to so and so university" or "He went to whatever university" to which I always reply, "That doesn't impress me. Can he / she do .........?"

I only wonder what would have happened had certain people who have revolutionised the world who attended Harvard carried on with the same top uni makes you better attitude.

 

On that same note, I wish I could do a standing backflip. That way, whenever anyone starts running their mouth, I'll just do a backflip and then walk away.
