To start, I have browsed the entire m2 forum, but still have some questions before I make the leap and purchase a fz-35 unit

first, is it yet possible to get the arcade software to load in a playable state on the kiosk units?

And if so, how/what is required controller wise to get past attract mode and actually play the games themselves.

Second, what software is available outside of the arcade titles that can be burnt and used on the kiosk unit

third, what controllers work with the kiosk units. Doubt my 3do controllers will work, and don't want to end up with playable software And no way to control anything.

I've been researching it all, but never find any concrete info. I def want to pick up m2 hardware, but can never find arcade boards and software. I don't want to end up having the kiosk unit just be a large paperweight.

thanks in advance for any info/links that you know of And I can't find. Sorry if some of the answers are already in the forums and I just missed them.

I've always wanted an m2, and as a filmmaker wanted to record everything footage wise I could for the community.

So the ultimate question. Will I enjoy the kiosk unit, or would I be better off waiting it out till I find arcade hardware?

Thanks everyone. Looking forward to some info!

Find the arcade hardware if you want to actually play stuff (unless more retail-related games end up being released by someone, but that hasnt really happened yet)

Thats what I thought about the kiosk units, thanks for filling me in.

There should be a sticky w/ all the known hardware variations, arcade boards, available software, and details on what piece of software works with what unit, ect ect. Info is very spread out on the m2.

Hell. I'd even be willing to help write some of it

    But I appreciate the answers.

On a side note : Can Polystars yet be run on any of the other arcade boards? (Heat of 11, Evil / Hell Night, Total Vice) Polystars is my first want for the arcade software, but I don't want to invest in one of the 8mb boards if it cant run Polystars, and don't want a board that can JUST play Polystars either

Thanks for the extra info. I guess I will keep my search going for arcade hardware.

Unfortunately I only ever find hardware in full cabs. There are two Total Vice cabs on ebay now, but way too big and shipping would almost double the price. I can never seem to find just the inner hardware
