Filter is actually a good show. Judgement Day is a show where Tommy says every game sucks except when they have his music in them and Victor almost always gives the games a higher score than tommy.
their icons show is kinda good. I never really liked the standalone G4 channel, and apparently no one else did either if Comcast felt they had to basically "buy" TechTV viewers. I guess they don't get it. People didnt want to watch their channel, so they force it on another audience. oh well. Cheat is the worst show ever. Who the hell seriously sits and watches a 30 minute show about some 3 month old game and cheats that any dumbass can find on the internet in 2 minutes with google?
G4TV is watchable in the same manner a train wreck is. And the fact that they ruined TechTV pisses me off to no end. I loved the quirky shows on TechTV (I mean, I was rather happy to herald the appearance of an American version of FFM, so that should give you an idea of my feelings for the original,) which is why the raping of the network hurt deeply. As for the shows: Arena - To anyone who watches this show, please do us all a favor and look up why Wil Wheaton left, then try to find the shread of credibility the show doesn't have left. Judgement Day - Oh look. A contest of egos. Excuse me while I puke. X-Play - I think the only remedy for this show is to burn the set down. Preferably while the cast is inside. This show reminds me why my first step in improving the gaming industry is a ball-peen hammer to the head of the majority of uneducated gamers out there. At least Portal and Starcade are gone.
I saw an old version of X play, Extended play, and it was good, and the humor was better. Not showing the same pics of Raiden over and over in the arsenal gear, when anyone there says Metal Gear. :angry
Well, at least they've improved Cheat by axing the Pringles stuff and giving us some cute eye candy. It's still evil, but now it's cute evil.
