Game Boy Camera dump...

Years ago a bought a used Game Boy Camera at ebay. The camera had some photos from a girl left, nothing spectacular.

Anyway I also own a GB Xchanger. I found some nice tools which can be used to dump the SRAM of the GB Camera cartridge. I also found a tool which can convert the dump file into bitmap files.

So I made a dump and what a surprise, the GBCamera Dump tool does restore deleted images! So when you delete an image on the Game Boy Camera it will be removed only from the TOC, but the raw image still remains in the SRAM.

Now, as I said before, I bought a used Game Boy Camera. I found some interesting photos in the dump. The formely owner seems to be a Tomb Raider fan:

No, I was only able to extract the user pictures and the game face.

I used GBX-Tool v1.8 to make the SRAM dump and GBCameraDump to convert the dump into bitmaps.

Buy pre-used gameboy camera´s from hot girls. :lol:

But seriously, what was this former owner for a poor guy...:-(

 

This prompted me to set up a Win98 Laptop so I can use my camera link, looking forward to abusing this camera to see what it can do.

 

LOL i remember these i did years ago, always fun to bring back out, i had no fancy cable to capture mine i had to put my gbc on a scanner hehe

With creative use of the stamp tools anything is possible.

of the bottom 3 the first one is penetration I believe............................Anyway I did have a gameboy camera and I did have a bit of a fun with it. To be honest I kind of wish I didn't sell it.

 

I keep my GB Camera for Mario Artist Paint Studio.

Yup works with talent studio as well, lets you capture your face & put it on a character.
