I took some colour shots with my GBCamera a while back. All you have to do is use RGB filters over the lens and then convert the three resulting images as colour channels in photoshop, you get stuff like this: Of course some turn out better than others, and I plan to revisit the technique sometime in the future with actual lens filters (these were made using coloured translucent file folder tabs, believe it or not)
I didn't use any kind of infrared filter, I just took the pics in my basement under fluorescent lighting
Nope, it's probably not going to work, so don't want to say what it is until it's done. If it goes tits-up I will just do "Bumfights GB Camera Edition" to cover up my failure.
It took almost two months of searching, but I found a Mad Catz Camera Link on eBay. I picked up a complete WinXP machine for $4 at a thrift store. I've begun to upload images to my flickr account. Link to Photoset. I'll be posting more there in the future.
Nice colourshots there, I should try that to sometime. Panaroma-Magic at work! I use a GB-Xchanger to transfer my images, sadly it has a little waggle, I loose saves now and then.
The Game Boy Camera is awesome, I LOL'ed when I selected Run!, you know when you go to Shot, and I got a horrible photo with a text that said "What are you running of?". XD
