Ok, the Game Boy Color has an infrared port, which was scarcely used (the only game I've ever used it with was Pokemon Gold).

Is it possible to turn one of those into a remote control?

I'm bringing this post back from the dead since it seems relevant. I have a Pokemon Pikachu GS pedometer - It's capable of sending "watts" via IR to another PP GS. I wonder if anyone has written a program to send "Watts" from a PC to the PP GS unit...? Or to send Mystery Gift items to Pokemon S/G/C..?
