Game Boy Light Toys R Us Clear Yellow in Box

This is in the box but the box is fairly beat-up and the console has been used some with a small scratch on the screen.
I have never seen one with the box before :/

Add $20 to whatever the system is loose. I find that many systems with a box is $20-$30 more.

$20? It's a Toy's R Us exclusive and probably in the top 2 of rare GB Lights. I'd say the price on Yahoo is a bit high (around $350) because of the damaged box. Without box maybe $100... but even though it's damaged, this model is pretty hard to find in box so some people won't mind the wear too much.

Without the box for 100$? Sign me up. You can barely get a scratched up GBLight for that, let alone a limited model. Id say closer to 175-200$ for it loose, minimum on a bad day, and with the box included, 275$ or more would be fair.

Those crazy prices are only offered in the West... the same charming place that has the loose SNES cartridges with cum stains for $150, "RARE COLLECTORS ITEM!!!" ;)

In Japan you can get them without any trouble for $50 loose, probably $80 with all fees: http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f126273363

I know what you meant, but it's just not true. A $330 GameBoy would not only increase up to $350 if it comes with a rare box and manual...

Your $20 may apply to a regular GameBoy when it goes up from $20 to $40 in price.

Erm, it could and would though. There's no doubt in my mind that if system loose is worth $20, than one in box wouldn't be more...

True, but eBay is still a thousand times worse. You can still buy mint games for 3-10 bucks on Yahoo. On ebay, EVERYTHING is $24.99 and up.
