I found this cool Japanese site today that has little desk top icons for many japanese consoles from Famicom to PS2. THese would be great to use with your emluators and so on. i'm with you kron, don't know why but there's such a casual and fanboyism wind comming in this forum. like this guys naming games that he doesn't like playing (speaking of the ps2) that is also on xbox AND gamecube, or this other one that judge a console by itself and not it's games. Close yourself from something and you'll miss alot of things. C'mon guys, i thought we weren't like those stupid little spammers in every video games forums that starts flamewars about a video game console that they hate just because they don't own it. (and not the other way around) this is just plain annoying. and were's that guys that chase fanboys away? returning to the topic, i like the xbox, psone, saturn and sfc ones alot.
Fanboy-ism has always been an inherent part of gaming culture. It's been happening since the dawn of time...Atari 2600 owners vs. Colecovision. NES vs. SMS. Genesis vs TG16 vs SNES. And so forth. It happens in nearly every hobby (car fanatics, for example) and I for one, couldn't imagine gaming without it. The trick is, not to take things personally and just accept it!
None of the PS2 exclusive games interest me that much... also it is possible to dislike a systems design, control pad, games and other things. Just because there maybe a couple of games you might like playing on it doesnt mean you have to like the console... Do remember your talking in a forum where hardware is seeked out just for the sakes of looks and the ability to say "look at what i have..."
