Yeah, 2004 has been a crazy year, and since all the good stuff is already out, I want to see what the assembler people think of the games of 2004. Anyways...(Just to let you know, the origional poll was more then triple the current choices, but do to restrictions, I had to cut most of them. So, if there is any other game you liked, just choose Other)

Given that I haven't played a lot of the games out this year ( :smt009 ) due to my spending tons of money on stupid shit ( :angry ), it's hard to say.

Out of the ones I've played, it's probably Halo 2 or FFX-2. (Did that come out this year?!) Oh jesus, I can't remember. I sold most of my games anywho, and I played so few new games this year...crikey. :smt043

    Anywho, a few "sleeper" hits:

    Kingdom Under Fire
    Max Payne 2
    Donkey Konga
    Gungrave: OD

    HL2 for me :smt023
Though judging from the original, Viewtiful Joe 2 is gonna be one hell of a game, too.

35 votes, and a tie between MGS3 and HL2. Not bad...

Umm, didn't Doom 3 come out this year, too? I mean, I know it was a bit disappointing, but there was much hype and anticipation.

Or was that last year already? hehe

Yeah, doom 3 came out, and it was on the origional list (like I said, there were quite a few games before I had to cut it short due to the limit)

I voted other. Call me a wuss, a girl or whatever, but I like Katamari Damacy. A very simple game, but addictive and unique too.

MGS and GTA are top for sure along with Halo, but I don't own them yet. I'm too f'n cheap to buy a game for $50.

Ahh the list was cut, makes sense!

Yeah, I'll give it that, its a pretty scary game! Its just disappointing in that it is too demanding to run decently, and the online play is severely resticted.

I still say GBA NES Classics: The Legend of Zelda :smt023 why isn't it on the list?
