    Hi all,

    I had a spare weekend and a DS Lite with a broken top screen.

    So I decided too do this;

    It went well so I have ordered a few more faulty ones so will make a couple more and may make some changes eg a LED indicator window

    Looks pretty good! Not the colour choices I would have gone for personally, but still, looks nice.

    I have a couple of broken DS Lites as well.. any pictures or guides you have for doing this? Thanks

    I based the colours on fallout. I will be doing a couple more so will try and get a guide together if I remember.

    I see. Well that's cool. To be honest, I'm not sure what colours I would go for. I hope you do remember lol. I'm certainly interested, considering you're using the top screen on the bottom half of the DS right?

    I should have done this, rather than throwing away all my DS spares when prices went to shit.

    However, where have you installed speakers? DS speakers are on the top half...

    I did install one but its so quite it wasn't really worth it imo.

    Also Bad, whilst I have you here. What does the xenogc chip do ? Does it allow you too run back ups of your games from a disk, USB or SD Card? Just I have a few that are sealed but I want too play them.

    now all we need is a modified os to get rid of all ds features
    EDIT:
    Actually that's no really needed, I forgot you could set the console to auto boot.
    The only thing that could be don would be to work out how the DS detects a GBA cart, my guess would be it just pulls something low on the cart slot when you insert a game. Like using two of the ground pins on the cart itself (as they are common on the cart)

    Did the op solder the two points with a 300 ohm resistor or bridged them?
