I was installing xenogc to my GameCube and for some reason I decided to look under heat sink. After removing I realized that one of element (DA15) on motherboard was damaged. Looks like this element is related with serial port, which I don’t use on my GameCube and without it console works well, but I want to repair it Does anybody know what this element is?
Looks like a diode array - especially given that "DA" prefix. Presumably it's there to try and protect the EXI port lines from static discharge. The until should still work OK without it.
I though that this can be some diode, but cannot understand why there only five pins, not six. And seems that this is ESD Zener Diode Arrays where central pin is ground Thank you TriMesh
