Yeah you can either "debug" / i.e. hook into a game using the USBGecko & GeckoOS/WiiRd (on a GC), or you can straight out use gdb with USBGecko or a BBA in libOGC.
Also, random question, kinda relevant to stuff discussed here, is the T-Dev designed for ProDG's debugger (seeing as they're both SN) or does SN just happen to make both and there is no correlation between the ProDG debugger and a T-Dev.
So you're trying to burn ripped games is that correct? :fresh: Far as I remember, yes it is. It's like a NR but with double the ram like a devkit. There is a boot disc & t-Dev (plugs on one of the expansion ports on the bottom) to USB cable to talk to the unit to run the debugger.
All I want to know is how to burn a GCM file on to a Blank NR Discs. I keep getting errors. Not the right kind of GameCube Master File I think it has something to do with the way I ripped the games them selfs.
From what I've gathered he is trying to burn a game he ripped himself using PSO and some USB device. Perfectly fine in my opinion but why someone would want to waste a perfectly good first party recordable disc for a retail game is beyond me aside from maybe trying to pass it off as a review copy for bonus cash or for kicks. I've been known to do similarly stupid things purely for kicks.
I think he's trying to make it bootable for the BBA. Which is why I think GCOS ripper is a much better idea.
if he has a usbgecko, he should just burn a bootable disc with the GeckoOS loader. burning PSO is just a round-about way of doing it.
