    You just solder it to the drive PCB - there really isn't anything to configure. If you hold down certain buttons while the disk is booting, it controls various options (for that boot only)

    L trigger: Disables audiofix
    R trigger: Disables DRE fix (the chip will normally retry much longer than the stock code)
    X button: Force NTSC display (doesn't work for all titles)
    Y button: Force PAL display (doesn't work for all titles)
    Start button: For 1.x, displays credits, for 2.0 displays XenoShell (which is stuck in PAL mode...)

    If you can solder even halfway decently, it's trivial to install.

    Got them today will do installs and report back im gonna go wireless even though its my first time cause I have been practiceing on old broken stuff in my junk and found that I suck a wireing and am better at wireless soldering so I will report back once installed
