I would have said completely the opposite. The monitor and the plasma look worlds apart aspect ratio wise.
Then it definately looks like a scaled down widescreen panel. Possibly one of the commercial 16:10 panels.
Well, seriously, do you think a collector like Ken would trade a Ketsui kit for something he's not sure if it's really 4:3?
uhmm , first of all , its a bad idea to compare a curved crt monitor with a flat screen. if you do compare a crt with a flatscreen , it should be a pure flat tube. anyway , that LG screen is infect 4:3 , it might look a little odd on the picture cause its tated but it is. this LG was pretty much the last 4:3 Plasma model ever released. the production of the Pio 401+402 and 37" 4:3 Hitachi ended a few years earlier. http://www.wedgwood-group.com/lg_mz-40pa10_plasma_screen.htm you can also download the specs sheet here
