They say that video games improve reflexes and motor ability. The following should be a rough indication if this is true or not, since we all are known for having played excessively in our lives. http://www.bbc.co.uk/science/humanbody/sleep/sheep/reaction_version5.swf Don't be shy to post your current and improving results! I m the bobcat thing for now (I could blame the wireless mouse signal )
Yeah, I got the Bobcat also. Thing is in real life I sometimes suprise myself with hand eye coordination, darts, juggling, catching something someone throws at me by suprise like a ninja, stuff like that.
Bobbing Bobcat. Funny thing though, I was at the movies the other day with a friend and they had a arcade that gave away ticket prizes. One of the machines there was a reflex machine that would give you the number of tickets based on what you landed on, and if you got the "Bonus" (Which was around 100 tickets, then a additional ticket for each coin put into the machine). Managed to get the bonus once, and landed on the 10 ticket spot (The one right next to the bonus) nearly each time. Funny thing is? With $10 bucks in coins, I managed to wipe the machine out of tickets (Around 1000 total), and sort of piss off the people who worked at the counter when they had to count it.
I jumped the gun a lot of time and got the penalty, but on my more accurate one I got Bobbing Bocat. I sometimes surprise myself in shooters with a lot of curtain fire (Like the last stages of Warning Forever), but I can't hold it for long.
I totally dominated this earthquake ticket thing, and a wheel of fortune ticket game when I was in Ocean City Maryland. The Earthquake game was one of the first times I was there, and we got well over 1000 tickets (me and my friend BOTH, seperately). Next time we went back the following year, the machine was adjusted to give out almost no tickets lol. So I decided to play the wheel of fortune. I landed a 500 ticket jackpot, 300, and then another 500, almost in a row. The people were pissed! lol Edit: Rocketing Rabbit on that reaction test, and its 3 am lol
Bobbing bobcat, although every time i try the first one i hit is always cheetah and then it slows down
Yeah, they had the wheel of fortune one, and a similar one (The wheel of fortune one gave out less then the other one). Funny thing is, me and my friend had several people crowd around us and see how the hell we were getting so many tickets (Too bad all the prizes there were crappy).
Bollards....first attempt.....Armadillo :-( Slow day in the office...so this will keep me going for the rest of the day!!!
Phew, tried it twice. Got the bobbing bobcat rank first, and second time got the rocketing rabbit(.2 seconds)
PhantasyStar, you must be a)quick b)have an awesome mouse with an optical connection and a proper bus to carry the data c) have foresight abilities!
I used to be a terrible shot, but since CS:Source I can take down terrorist scum with a stolen AK-47 from 100 yards or more. Headshot!
0.1742 sec with my "wrong hand" ie Im a leftie and i was using my right hand. Lol I clicked too early on one and got 0.000 sec .... http://farm1.static.flickr.com/152/336264698_6bd220f7c5.jpg?v=0
after moving 20 cm closer to the screen and holding the mouse near my body, i achieved a blazing 1.712. I m now a rocketing rabbit!
Bobcat.... althought I have the excuse of A: Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and B: I was up 'til 5am this morning and had approx 3hrs sleep thanks to a son with a bad cold, which I am now getting... so C: I also appear to be getting a bad cold. (Get the impression that I am a sore loser?)
This is a shitty test. The mouse is really unresponsive for milli second reactions. Esspecially when you have an older mouse that seems like it'll stop clicking at all one of these days. ;p I could keep getting the one in the middle but that was about it. Also, why is there a damn layer at the bottom of the field to hide the sheep underneath it? Really this is a shitty test.
