Finally finished Fallout 3. 85+ hours. Seriously one of the best games I've ever played. Time to move on to New Vegas or maybe finish L.A. Noire. But before I know it, Duke Nukem Forever will be on my doorstep. I better hurry!
Way to go , including all the DLCs? Have you tried any of the mods from TheNexus? (www.fallout3nexus.com) There are some very interesting mods, one I really recommend is Mothership Zeta Crew, it is so awesome I cannot begin to describe it. Fallout New Vegas is sweet in some ways, but in others I still prefer Fallout 3. I have the latest DLC (Honest Hearts) but haven't played it yet.
Yeah, Fallout 3+DLC on the 360. So no mods. I've put a decent amount of time into New Vegas but it just doesn't feel as big as Fallout 3. I still really enjoy though. I'm SUPER excited to see a new Fallout with Bethesda's new engine they're using for Skyrim. That should be dope beyond compare! haha
Oh, too bad, I played it on PC specially for the mods. Anyway I first beat it without any mods and then add some mods for extra play time, did the same with Oblivion and New Vegas. Skyrim will keep us busy for quite some time, I'm super excited about it. What you say might actually happen, there's no doubt they could make a new Fallout game with Skyrim's engine, that'd sure kick some ass.
Nice. I was never able to finish it as a kid at my friend's house. And I never owned the game or a working Genesis (I still don't have one). It was until the 360 and with save states that I was finally able to play all the way through it. I played Sonic 2 at my friend's house a lot growing up, too. But would never get further than the Oil Zone. And it wasn't even until about 2005 that someone told me you can change into Super Sonic. I honestly never knew. Blew my mind. Okay, now I'm embarrassed.
Hah, yeah. I had a similar moment here just recently when someone pointed out that you can do little turbo boosts when you go round corners in Mario Kart 64. Literally never knew. For me the big revelation in Sonic 2 was the beta, really. I knew the game inside out, so to have completely new levels (even incomplete) just blew me away. I've been kind of obsessive about betas ever since.
I could never get the emeralds in Sonic 2, it seems like that useless bastard Tails would always hit one of the mines. My embarrassing revelation was that for YEARS I didn't know there was an option screen you could get to from the title screen. After all, it only shows 1 player and 2 player, so who'd think to press down a third time right? That also means I never knew there was a way to remove Tails and actually have a chance in the special stages.
I just finished skies of arcadia again. got and played it when it came out. I've just played it again for the first time in...well...10 years...and its still the best rpg of all time imo. it also looked kickass on my hd tv with the vga box. now I feel kinda empty again...its such an awesome game...
Did you play the Cube version? The frequency of random battles on the DC version irritated the fuck out of me way back when.
DC version. I never mind battles in rpgs. I'm the levelling-up-for-the-sake-of-levelling-up kinda guy
Nothing wrong with that. I'm the same for about 30 minutes until my patience wears out, or until I think I can see an alternate route and want to go there, but have to wade through half a dozen random battles only to find out that no, there is no alternate route and then have to battle six more airship guys or whatever. Much prefer the Chrono Trigger system. I do remember it looking incredible at the time, though, and I did complete it so it couldn't have been that bad
Not making fun but Sonic games are just too easy for me, I must have finished the MD versions hundreds of times as a kid. Kinda find them boring as a result today but having played them in 50Hz or 60 emulated I just wanted to relive them again the way they were meant to be played. Sonic 2 is my least favourite.
Just finished Dead Nation (nicely done, except for the jumpers and enemies randomly appearing from literally nowhere) and Infamous (yet another team who has no clue how to balance difficulty) on PS3.
